This is an updated version of VillainTheory's amazing Master Blaster deck from a couple years back (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/30204/master-blaster-1.0). Everything in there he says about boosting damage through Aggressive Energy and Warrior Skill applies here too. That deck opened my eyes to the fun to be had with Cyclops outside of Leadership!

In this update, I wanted to add my favorites of the new, upgrade focused cards released in the past year - Take That!, Shark-Girl, Glob and Suppressing Fire. Additionally, I wanted to try to build Cyclops by completely ignoring his ability to bring X-Men allies from other aspects. So the allies here are all Aggression! Glob & Shark Girl help you soften up beefy minions with upgrades, Psylocke helps you flip down, and Sunfire is a mainstay for any annoying villain attachments.

While this deck was built with multiplayer in mind, you can modulate how many of each enemy upgrade takes up the 3 slots in the deck for Gatekeeper/Marked/Suppressing Fire. include based on player count and scenario. Solo or need more thwarting? Add more Gatekeeper. Are you the primary source of damage on your team? Add more Marked. Suppressing Fire is also good to heal you in a pinch, as we don't have a ton of allies here to chump. The great thing about Cyclops is that it's fairly easy to grab which one you want, when you want it, thanks to his Constant Training ability on AE to grab from the deck, and Tactical Brilliance's ability to pull from discard. So, I don't mind running one of each.

For extra bonus points - have a copy of Energy Shield to put in the Protection player on your team's deck...

Have fun blasting!

@josseroo Just this and the Energy Shield one...though this is also an Energy Shield one if someone is playing Protection at my table (the Joss special of giving others cards to play for you!)
