10 Flavors of Spider-Woman - Laser Swords (Con of Heroes)

For Con of Heroes 2025, there were three prevailing themes spoiled: Web-Warriors, S.H.I.E.L.D, and Aerial. After the previous year I was really inspired to bring a single hero in every aspect. Spider-Woman happened to fit the themes and is my favorite hero. So I present the 10 Flavors of Spider-Woman

Laser Swords

No collective of Pool decks is complete without a Laser Swords deck. Spider-Woman has the unique advantage of not only having in kit Readies but also getting access to the Protection Readies.

Goal 1

Laser Swords, should be obvious.

Goal 2

Headpool and Bob, Agent of Hydra to get some icons out to help out the board.

Goal 3

When you're ready for the big finish, get out Symbiote Suit and/or Live Dangerously to get your Laser Swords maxed out. Hide these with Plot Convenience until you're ready to use them.

Goal 4

Use Leading Blow, What Doesn't Kill Me, Stick-To-Itiveness, and Self-Propelled Glide to get as many readies as possible to win.

Reflections

Readies are fun. So this deck is fun. The inclusion of Break Time was the highlight when I actually played it.
