Flip Flop Bishop
Ready for a Fight is kind of crazy on Bishop. His alter ego ability works when flipping down, so why not flip down as much as possible?
Tested against expert Magneto twice, who didn't really stand a chance.
Quick summary
Basically, get hit in the face, flip down for value and ready for a fight back up. Repeat until you won. Use all the resources gained from getting hit in the face to play expensive allies and heal them or dump them into Malcolm, Randall or Super-Charged.
Detailed plan
Flipping down allows Bishop to tutor his very strong upgrades, his signature allies or his double resource cards. This is a key component to his game plan here. If you get stuck with a hand full of resources, they can just be used to play a tutored Randall or Malcolm and ready them.
Early priorities are getting out some supports and upgrades with a special focus on Rifle and Uniform.
Dr. Sinclair works very nicely in this. Between the resource cards and getting one of the allies from discard on the flip down the genius resource requirement can pretty much always be met.
Ready for a Fight is always a good play, even if it feels inefficient to pay for it with one of "The Power in/of" cards. The value and flexibility of flipping down without having to fear scheming out is just too good.
Moira MacTaggert and Avengers Mansion are great to get more non-resource cards and Down Time and Endurance help make Bishop a lot more durable against heavy hitters.
Play Rogue when possible, 4 ATK or 4 THW each round is just too good. Snowguard is a good back-up or addition.
Things to swap out
If you want room for something else more resource cards, I'd suggest swapping out X-Mansion and White Fox. The former is for more value, most of the time healing Rogue, but not necessary when Med Team exists and the latter is here for tempo, but unreliable.
Good candidates to swap in are Plan B for another resource dump or maybe other expensive high value allies like Storm
Great stuff! I'll have to give this a try
