Oh, now I feel it comin' back again Like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind Forces pullin' from the center of the earth again I can feel it - Live

This Hawkeye deck excels at balancing offense and steady defense. The title, "The Lightning Crashes, The Quiver Remains," captures this duality perfectly. Just like the song evokes sudden chaos, this deck thrives in unpredictability while staying grounded and steadfast. The quiver symbolizes resilience, enduring through every challenge. Drawing inspiration from the lyric, "Like a rolling thunder chasing the wind, forces pulling from the center of the Earth again," this deck embodies a powerful, unstoppable force. It relies on energy resource synergy to fuel crucial upgrades and defensive plays, the deck and robust defensive tools, this build offers an endless loop of attack and defense to outlast any foe.

Playing the Deck:

Start strong by focusing on Hawkeye's Quiver and Bow in your opening hand. Prioritize key supports and upgrades, taking early hits if necessary to establish your setup. Nightcrawler or Mockingbird can mitigate damage, while Unflappable offers card advantage during defense. Pair Defiance with Energy Barriers for effective damage absorption. Northstar cancels boosts, especially when protected by an energy shield to negate his effect's damage. Nova can chip away at the villain's health or eliminate minions, triggering Change of Fortune for extra card draw. Use Enhanced Reflexes to stockpile energy for your shield or to power abilities like Nightcrawler or Nova. Med Team is perfect for healing yourself, allies, or multiplayer teammates, while Operations Room removes a threat and prevents 1 damage when a friendly character defends. I added Jocasta to retrieve used Defiances, and Gambit for his energy resource synergy or to assist with thwarting or attacking depending on the boost icon we get, plus he provides intel on the encounter deck.

This deck can feel like well-oiled machine, of your plan coming together. You go from a fragile hero on the verge of defeat to an unstoppable force, a relentless storm of arrows that wears down the villain with an almost elegant precision. This is a deck for players who love strategic depth, tense decisions, and the cathartic release of a perfect combo. It’s the closest you’ll get to feeling like Hawkeye, the master marksman who, with nothing more than his wits and a quiver of arrows, can take on an entire world.

Let me know if you liked the deck; all feedback is appreciated.

Look at you making Hawkeye great again! I like the way you use energy resources to keep Hawkeye alive. I absolutely love the design.

I especially love the Northstar and Energy Shield combo! That is such a clever way to keep him alive! He is one of my favorite allies, glad to see a way to keep him on the table longer.

Does Nightcrawler's interrupt work for when he takes damage too?

@JacenSketchThe idea is that you can defend with Nightcrawler, and his interrupt ability states that when an X-Man character would take damage from an attack, you can spend an energy resource to return him to your hand and prevent all the damage cause Nightcrawler is an xmen

Am liking this!! Good idea to thin the deck out by not adding too many event cards....which will make finding arrows a bit easier to add to quiver, or to get in hand..I've not tried Ops Room yet, but I like how it also helps with thwarting.. I'll give this one a go!
