May I have your attention please?
May I have your attention please?
Will the real White Wolf please stand up?
I repeat, will the real White Wolf please stand up?
We’re gonna have a problem here…
Yo!
You act like you never seen Bucky before,
Winter Soldier swingin’, metal arm to the floor.
But hold up, wait on the ally slot I drop,
White Wolf’s in the deck sayin’ “That’s my spot!”
T’Challa’s brother Hunter, rockin’ the name,
But the MCU gave it to Bucky for fame.
Now they’re side by side, Wakandan bloodline vibe,
Hero and the ally both claimin’ the tribe.
Atlas Bear lumberin’, Aneka bringin’ fight,
Okoye stand tall, Dora Milaje unite.
Black Panther leadin’, Ayo keepin’ score,
And Widow sneaks in, hittin’ villains with more.
Command Team doubles up, training on the fly,
Triskelion’s wide so the squad multiplies.
Safe House for cover, Mission Leader’s call,
Sidearm equipped who’s the real Wolf y’all?
Squared Off clash, Arm Block, Metal Punch slam,
Rapid Response bringin’ White Wolf back, damn.
Make the Call plays, the allies won’t quit,
Winter Rifle loaded villains can’t take a hit.
So when you see ‘em both fightin’ on that card art stack,
Hero White Wolf Bucky, Ally Wolf got his back.
In Wakanda they’re brothers, in the deck it’s a bluff,
Will the real White Wolf please stand up?
But wait who’s the real Wolf in this fight?
Bucky in Wakanda, or Hunter in the night?
MCU says Barnes, comics say another,
Either way, he’s still T’Challa’s brother.
So put one vibranium arm in the air,
If you feel me rockin’ with this leadership flair.
We got allies, upgrades, supports stacked tough,
Will the real White Wolf please stand up?
There is so many different ways you can play this deck or adjust it but I have been having an absolute blast with this deck...
Thematic was the main goal but then I realized how well this deck sung....(pun intended). The deck answers the question: “Who’s the real White Wolf?” In the MCU, Bucky carried the name. In the comics, it was Hunter, T’Challa’s adopted brother. On the table, you’re running both side by side but here, the ally Hunter (White Wolf) is the one who shines as the damage dealer, while Bucky Barnes plays the supporting role of board controller.
This deck plays out like a tag-team showcase where White Wolf is your heavy hitter and Winter Soldier handles the cleanup. You’re not just running allies to chump block you’re engineering a repeatable combo engine that turns White Wolf into a massive damage dealer while Bucky balances the board by slaying minions.
White Wolf as the Priority Attacker:
White Wolf is the centerpiece of your offense. Your first priority is to attach Sidearm to him (or Okoye if the board state calls for it). With Sidearm, White Wolf shifts from a decent attacker into a repeatable damage powerhouse.
Okoye’s ability to buff other Wakandans makes White Wolf even more lethal, bringing him to 3 ATK baseline or 4 ATK with Sidearm attached.
Once you get Hugin & Munin down, you gain an extra ready effect, which combined with Command Team activations allows you to push huge bursts of damage in a single turn.
Example: With Okoye buffing and Sidearm attached, White Wolf can reach 4 ATK per swing. With two Command Teams and Hugin & Munin giving the extra ready, that’s 3–4 attacks in one turn for 12–16 total damage.
The catch, of course, is that White Wolf’s ability adds 1 threat each time he attacks. That’s where the other half of the deck comes in.
Winter Soldier as the Minion Slayer
Bucky’s role is to clean up the consequences of White Wolf’s rampage. Every time White Wolf adds threat, the villain deck will likely cough up more pressure in the form of minions or schemes.
Winter Soldier’s events like Metal Punch for minions with overkill, Arm Block, and Squared Off give him tools to control combat by pullings minions out and dropping any ally in hand with the exception of Okoye for free or 1 resource have them soften their HP and Winter Soldier clear out with 2 or 3 attack.
His base kit makes him highly efficient at removing 2 threat from a minion takedown, which pairs perfectly with White Wolf’s drawback.
Essentially, White Wolf swings wide for damage, while Winter Soldier trims down the aftermath to keep the board stable.
Ally Roles Beyond White Wolf Atlas Bear quietly fuels your game plan by turning his exhaust into extra card flow. His ability lets you peek at the top of a player deck, and if it’s an event, you can pay 1 damage to Atlas Bear to draw it. That means he can: Grab Make the Call or Squared Off to keep your ally engine flowing. Pull Metal Punch to give Winter Soldier a heavy strike right when you need damage. Snag Electrical Discharge for a timely stun, buying you breathing room against the villain.
He’s not the flashiest ally, but he makes sure your deck stays efficient and always has access to the right event at the right moment. Plus I feel like he's an ally that doesn't get played much.
Black Panther’s enter play effect makes him your safety net. He recurs a Leadership event from the discard pile straight to your hand (well under him). Whether it’s Make the Call to bring White Wolf back or Squared Off to discount an ally when a minion drops, Panther ensures no key event stays gone for long.
Together, Atlas Bear and Black Panther give you event reliability from both directions, one pulls from the top of the deck, the other from the discard. They keep your deck consistent, flexible, and always ready to support the White Wolf/Winter Soldier tag team.
Key Synergies & Plays
Sidearm + White Wolf = Priority #1. The deck revolves around this setup.
Okoye Buff = Turning White Wolf from “decent” to “scary.”
Command Team x2 + Hugin & Munin = Multiplying White Wolf’s swings for huge swings.
Rapid Response + Make the Call = Keep White Wolf and your best Wakandans on the field, even after they fall.
Winter Soldier’s Minion Control = The safety net that keeps White Wolf’s aggression from spiraling out of control.
I believe one of the ultimate setups in this deck is to have Okoye and White Wolf on the board with the Dora Milaje out and just continually heal Okoye especially since it also triggers the "Special" ability on 1 "Dora Milaje ally". You could also trigger Aneka's special since it removes a threat then you're just nulling the threat White Wolf puts on the main.
Something to take note on: I have tried various plays with this deck but I trimmed Sidearm down to a single copy because it’s a “win more” piece once White Wolf is set up. The first copy is critical since it unlocks his full attacking potential, but after that, extra copies are just dead draws clogging the hand and you typically MtC on all the other allies so sidearm wont stay on long...I also like it on White wolf if there is a villain with retaliate or minion that needs to be softened up. You could also add something like inspired but the choice is yours. There is a good possibility that I add it to the deck but I am having so much fun with this deck in it's current state.

Oct 04, 2025Since White Wolf and some upgrades are central do your strategy, I was expecting to see Suit Up amongst your list. Is that a card that you've considered? |

Seems like a lot of fun! If your core mechanic is to ready White Wolf a lot, I think Inspired and Get Ready would be good additions. Any reason these didn't make the cut?
