RED HOT FIREPOWER
We are coming in RED HOT with some serious FIREPOWER in this build. We are also well prepared to take some hits and dish back some punishment.
We have a full set of Counterattack which is the greatest card of all time, ever. We also have "You'll Pay for That!" to take threat off a scheme as Venom's base thwart is a pile of trash, ideally we want to use our thwarting events and save Venom's basic activations for attacking, healing, and maybe even defending in a pinch.
We have the "No Quarter" and Moment of Triumph combo to keep our health up in hero form so that we can get maximum mileage out of Spider-Sense each round. Our base recovery and Project Rebirth 2.0 is an alternate method of healing, but ideally we want to be staying in hero form all game with this deck, if possible.
All of this healing is going to be paramount due to Toe to Toe, which we want to be using on the villain, ideally, as it nets us a draw from Spider-Sense and can also enable Counterattack, "You'll Pay for That!" or Grasping Tendrils, if we drew them on a turn we flipped down into Alter-Ego. Thor and Throg both come in with Toughs in the best case scenario, so these can be used to block with Toe to Toe so that these allies do not lose tempo when entering play.
I have opted not to run any additional weapons as Firepower, when boosted by Honed Technique and possibly Aggressive Energy, does more damage than exhausting Multi-Gun for singular damage. Even just exhausting the 2 pistols can still do very good damage. If the cards line up, it is possible to play multiple copies of Firepower in a single turn, if combined with Run and Gun.
Between Firepower and the Toe to Toe plus Counterattack combo, this deck will blast the villain into smithereens!
