SIMPLE. SOLID. FUN
This deck is built upon a few simple concepts and deliberately doesn't play into the most obvious way to play Deadpool (i.e build health points with Endurance, Symbiote Suit, Specialized Training then spam Maximum Effort and This Card is Fire).

DESIGN
This deck also doesn't try to fit too much in - the important cards like Energy Barrier and Energy Shield have 3 x copies, as well as Enhanced Reflexes.
You'll note most of the deck is an resource and this is to cater for Energy Shield.
Side Holster has been added for maximum weapon usage - which is very thematic to Deadpool in the comics. Coupled with Armed to the Teeth, Deadpool becomes a walking weapon!
KEY CONCEPTS
-
Play Energy Barrier as much as you can to prevent you losing to indirect damage when in alter-ego form;
-
Keep at least two of your allies alive with Energy Shield to do all the thwarting....or in Rogue and Cable's case heavy hitting too;
-
Play a variety of weapons - Deadpool's Katanas , Stun Gun and then your choice of weapon depending on scenario.
RECOMMENDED
Although we aren't going for big massive damage, there's still reason to get tanked and regenerate. Have Deadpool die, knowing you are safe from any unexpected surprises, and use his acceleration tokens to make the most out of Cable or Exhausting Personality.
When you do decide to regenerate Deadpool consistently, make sure you have already played It Ain't Over... or at least have Superpower Training so you can grab it quickly! It's essential in threat management, unless you have White Queen and Cable out with an **Energy Shield thwarting instantly for 2THWT and 4THWT respectively.
