mardi gras

Happy Mardi Gras, mon ami!

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Let the good times roll!

Gambit's riding at the front of the float this year, and he's got some big beads to throw! You better Float Like a Butterfly or you'll end up with a Concussion.

With Dazzler, Professor X, his trusty T-shirt cannon, and natural charm he's got 8+ confuses each loop around the parade route!

With all those confuses you can flip to alter ego and use Thief Extraordinare to pick your encounter cards.

mardi gras

"That's like putting the baby in your own slice of king cake chère."

But better yet...if you don't need to flip down you can take advantage of all the confusion of Mardi Gras day by charging up some more throws for even bigger damage with Mardi Gras mask and Float Like a Butterfly.

So put on your purple, gold and green and shout as loud as you can, "THROW (de Card) ME SOMETHING MISTER!"

Actual gameplay notes: This deck was built for solo in mind where you can utilize all of the confuse early to flip down, take advantage of a higher hand size, Thief Extraordinaire and Moira MacTaggert to get setup. This can also facilitate setting your next turn boost card and be able to defend for free once Gambit's Guild Armor is out. Once you've done a deck pass you can turn a corner and use the confuses for extra cheap damage with Float Like a Butterfly and Scare Tactic. A fully charged Scare Tactic with Float out is 2ER for 7 damage! Sonic Rifle helps you get on demand confuses when absolutely needed. I've had multiple games where I ended on a fully charged Royal Flush and finished with a fully charged Scare Tactic. Chamber is here for funsies because I don't use her that much.

Love the thematics of this build! Madi Gras is the perfect backdrop for Gambit. Using all the confuse to your advantage, seems like Gambit will be able to stay on top villian.

I usually don't play him in Justice, but I may need to give this deck a go.

@JacenSketch aggression is my go-to but wanted to do something different with him and then with today being Mardi Gras left right to theme it that way. Lol
