This is my Cyclops deck, which spends almost the entire game in Alter-Ego (unless he's bored). I play exclusively multiplayer, and keep all my hero decks built; feel free to swap in any cards you think would be better. Also I recently updated all my decks to 45 cards just to have less cards being unused, feel free to trim whatever!
This is a deck I came up with pretty much upon release and it just got better with more releases. The general theme of this deck is to stay in Alter-Ego and use your Constant Training ability to play tactic upgrades to benefit other players. More often than not, it ends up being Priority Target. So your activations aren't being wasted, Disguise lets you remove threat while your dolling out upgrades. But that's surely not enough, right?
Of course not. This deck includes a number of allies to support his threat-removal plan. This Cyclops just happened to support himself with his own person entourage of ladies, but not any ladies: Psionic ones! This is where his Alter-Ego shenanigans begin to take shape.
Your key supports are Cerebro and Danger Room. Once you get both, every time you play an ally, you can attach a complementary Mission Training to her. And because you now have a psionic character under your control, you can now search for any others in your deck! Since they do most of the (telekinetic) heavy lifting, Command Center helps with damage as well.
Since you're sitting in Alter-Ego, you might as well as use X-Mansion to get more activations out of whichever ally you like most (or heck, if there's another X-player, heal them!). And since you have X-Mansion, you can use X-Men Instruction to shuffle in allies and Mutant Education to shuffle in tactics, so you can go fetch them again!
Since you have Weapon X, you can mill until you get a resource your need, or hopefully a tactic you can play. X-Mansion can help offset the damage from this, if you like. You also have Befuddle as a resource you can go find to help pay for things, or play if you're removing just too much threat and need to turn up the damage. If in doubt, just find Assess the Situation for a bigger hand size next turn.
Enjoy locking down threat from the convenience of your own office! #WorkFromHome
