Like every Spider-person in every universe, Gwen is absolutely ready to stand up for what's right, and, just like the others, she's got the conviction to see things through.
This deck has two components we can add to the standard Web-Warrior package thanks to the Luke Cage pack. First, Take a Stand gives us a Response trigger on defense that is exactly what Gwen is looking for. Second, Righteous Purpose makes the Web-Warrior package fire on all cylinders.
Take the SP//dr bounce routine. You play her, attack for 1, then thwart for 2 the next turn, returning her to your hand and triggering Web of Life and Destiny. That's already great. But with Righteous Purpose you're attacking for 1, then thwarting for 4. Madame Web and Spider-Man are primed after one activation. Ant-Man is ready to go from the moment he's played, and, yes, he isn't a spider, but he is a bug-themed superhero, so we're just going to roll with it. Spider-Man 2099 isn't at his best here, but he is a base 2/2 and he can bounce himself or any other Web-Warrior back to hand if you need a card draw, an extra resource, or any other shenanigans you might cook up. Once our allies are buffed up, use Teamwork to keep the good times coming and the readies flowing.
Spider-Man with Unified Strike gets really, really, really good once he's at 1 health, allowing you to swing for 5 THW/6 ATK, then ready Gwen AND another Web-Warrior.
Meanwhile, Command Team can speed things along and Rapid Response is insurance in case we draw a bad treachery at the wrong time.
Take a Stand is the cherry on top, giving us even more ally buffing while providing a villain phase activation opportunity that can be hard to find in Leadership.
This deck is just a retooling of a proven strategy, but with a few new tricks in her bag, Gwen is ready to take it to the next level.
