I've been having a lot of success and fun with this deck (solo Expert) so I've decided to publish it. It has an interesting balance of pretty diverse effects, with a central theme of regenerating health and readying our hero. For a Protection deck, it's also capable of dishing out crazy damage.
Notes and stuff:

Tons of healing and hit point buffs, often with additional effects, making Wolverine capable of tanking virtually any attack.

Hard Knocks is an amazing event to play with Wolverine's Claws, especially if you defeat a 4-health minion.

Pretty staple Utopia package, with Rogue and Rockslide thrown in for some extra fun.

Two team-up events because why the hell not! Both are attacks, both feel really cool to play.

Stepford Cuckoos are here mostly for the X-Men theme and because I haven't played them all that much, but when they work they are amazing. Cancelling Shadow of the Past is a lovely thing indeed.
