Gabe's and my first attempt at fighting Ultron, looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Decided to stick to form and try to make a really thwarty deck. For Justice paired with Peter's ability to generate a science resource seems to make good sense and having take that cards for schemes like Foiled! makes a lot of sense to me.

AFTER GAME All in all I found myself unhappy with my hand at 3 or 4 different times, where I looked at my options and just didn't think I could do too much. Definitely going to remove Enhanced Awareness, I never wanted to use it.

Happily we won, but it was at the cost of Cap. I landed the final blow with a haymaker (of all things). Ultron was crazy powerful when we beat him, armor and all that nonsense.

UPDATE: Soooooo.... we have been playing incorrectly and thought that Ultron only had one main scheme for the whole game. So. We actually beat him without advancing his scheme at all. Lol.

As far as I know you can only use resource abilities to pay for cards. If you do anything else the resources are immediately lost. Therefore you cannot activate Peter Parker's ability, flip, and then use the resource to pay for For Justice!, which is a hero action. The resource would be lost when you flip.

DukeWellington is correct in that you can only use resource abilities to pay for cards. To add to his explanation, the way it works step-by-step is that you first decode to play a card, and then immediately pay for it. That is when you can use resources. That said, Web-Shooters are Hero Resources, so those do work quite well with For Justice!
