This deck looks to take the best advantage of Repurpose as possible, trying to ready a character as much as possible to take advantage of the buffed attack.
Including Repurpose, there are now quite a few ways to ready a hero outside of their own kit, but the main ones include:
- Earth's Mightiest Heroes (basic)
- Limitless Stamina (basic)
- Ready to Rumble (basic)
- Battle Fury (aggression)
- Justice Served (justice)
- Ever Vigilant (protection)
- What Doesn't Kill Me (protection)
Trying to fit as many of these as possible into a deck is challenging because many of them have restrictions, including being Aerial, and Avenger, physical resources, etc...
Thor then seems to be the hero who can fit this requirement best, as he has the 14 HP needed for Limitless Stamina, regularly is Aerial for Ever Vigilant and is an Avenger for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. What Doesn't Kill Me isn't the easiest card to play with the Physical requirement, but he can get access to a Quincarrier, and this card is really helpful as it can helps to heal Thor too.
With all these cards included, Thor then has 15 total cards that allow him to ready, which is pretty insane.
Other cards needed then include Victor Mancha in order to have an Avenger ally to exhaust (and can also help delay minions if needed), and some Tech. Personally, I prefer the Energy Barrier over the Forcefield Generator as it is a little cheaper, does damage, can be stacked and most importantly can be controlled without it being a Forced Interrupt. I find that the Forcefield Generator sometimes is gone before I am ready to "Repurpose" it, so my investment is lost. I also like having some Plasma Pistol's around too, as those aren't as cost efficient, but they you can control their counters better and are a good back-up option if you get a Repurpose but don't have an Energy Barrier ready to sacrifice. Finally, I've included the double resources as has a pretty expensive kit.
Overall, this deck is a little bit of a gimmick deck, but it's pretty solid overall. You have access to thwarting the main scheme through Ever Vigilant, healing through What Doesn't Kill Me, and protection from damage from the Energy Barriers. Thor is a 3 ATK hero already, so he's going to hit pretty hard here, especially if you start your turn with the Repurpose.
