Nova - Unleash the Justice

Nova is such a fun hero to play. He has some insane synergies within each aspect. This is my take on justice.

The Strategy

This deck's core idea is to make the most out of Nova's hero response ability while making up for his poor survivability at the same time.

By boosting his basic thwart with Heroic Intuition and Making an Entrance he can thwart for a lot while still allowing him to stay in hero for as long as possible to keep up momentum. Combine this with Justice Served and Overwatch and you'll have a thwart machine to be reckoned with.

Add One Way or Another, Unleash Nova Force, Skilled Investigator and Turn the Tide into the equation and you'll have a card drawing monster machine who can keep the board under control with ease. You'll easily cycle through half your deck in one turn occasionally.

So, how about his survivability? Simple answer: allies, allies and more allies along with "Go for Champions!". Factor in that he'll stay healthy with Making an Entrance and you'll be fairly safe.

So... Wasp, that's a pretty terrible card? Well, true. But it actually works in this deck. Although it's somewhat situational she can really shine with Overwatch when you need to clear threat from the main scheme as well as side schemes but simply cant due to restrictions. Oh and she also interacts with "Go for Champions!" which is nice. I guess Wiccan is a fair option if you're keen to swap her out.

Oh and mulligan? This deck is pretty solid from the get-go. Upgrades are always nice tho. Heroic Intuition is obviously fairly important for your card drawing engine along with Skilled Investigator.

Final thoughts

This deck is play tested solo vs expert Mutagen, expert Kang and expert Ultron. I've had a blast playing and creating this deck, and it's always refreshing to create great decks without the use of stuns/confuse or common auto includes such as Clear the Area. Fun times!
