Vivian and 616 Hickory Branch Lane make for a really powerful combo. Every turn starts with Vivian at 1 consequential damage, and every turn you flip (or just stay in alter-ego), have Vivian thwart for 3, get knocked out, summoned back with 616 Hickory Branch Lane, and swing for another 3. 2 cost for 6 thwart is already really good, but you can split it between 2 schemes, and the best part is that you're getting it every. single. turn. Plus, if you need her to deal some damage, or block a big attack, she's great for that too!

Since I would be spending so much time in alter-ego, I wanted to build around that. A S.H.I.E.L.D. build was an obvious choice, cards that could thwart and Sky-Destroyer to damage with each S.H.I.E.L.D. card played. Meditation also makes great use of Alter-Ego form, helping to pay for the expensive cards like Avengers Mansion and the S.H.I.E.L.D. pieces. I included Sonic Rifle as another target to use meditation on, and to confuse the villain while I spent so much time in Alter-Ego, but it didn't get as much play (especially against Steady villains) and could be subbed out.

When I first built this, I used Helicarrier instead of Nick Fury, which is probably a better pick for the deck's economy and synergy. I chose Nick Fury though because I was playing Sinister Motives and [SPOILERS] knew I'd be getting a free Helicarrier in the last scenario.

I beat the Sinister Motives campaign on expert with this deck, pairing it with Ant-Man Leadership. This deck might work solo, but probably needs some more damage. I'd sub out the Sonic Rifles for some allies like Quake or some attack events.
