Updated deck. Beaten expert Mutant Genesis two handed with my Colossus Aggression deck https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/23340/colossus-brings-some-friends-part-of-full-set-3.0 Also with several three player groups which is where it shines more.
The purpose of this deck is to get out your upgrades, and keep threat under control with Hard to Ignore, reflect damage back Electrostatic Armor, draw a card with Unflappable. Flow Like Wateris there but can be swapped depends on what you are playing with. Good cards are x-men support cards if someone is running them.
Nerves of Steel is there since all the defense events cost at least 1 resource so it will pay off. Defensive Training is a great card that really helps get your events back in your deck. You really want a steady stream of Powerful Punch.
Powerful Punch is an amazing card because you can play it while in Solid form to flip to Phased, and than take the hit. You don't even have to exhaust since playing the defense card counts as defense action. Afterwards you flip back to Solid. You could also use Solidfor the resource too. You can also do this for another player without having to tap your character to use their basic defense.
Ready to Rumble is in there three times. Why? Because you can trigger it after you switch hero OR solid/phased form. Also, Every game i have lost with Shadowcat has been because of her obligation which essentially kills 2 full rounds of her, maybe more with other obligations. Keep a copy of this card around until you see her obligation discarded OR you deal with it.
Fighting Fit Does a lot of damage because she generally doesn't take damage with her phased shenanigans. Added 1 bait and switch for later game when your engine is up and can setup phased multiple times in one turn.
The Night Nurse is great for removing status, but also incase you take some chip damage to get you back to full health for Fighting Fit
