I finally got some time to sit and enjoy Next Evolution - wow, what a campaign! This is the deck that got me through it, solo, expert level.

I think it's pretty self-explanatory, no crazy or way-out-there combos here, but I found playing this deck through the campaign very satisfying.

Lots of villains hit hard (Stryfe and Juggernaut come to mind), and having access to lots of damage mitigation with Forcefield Generator, Energy Barrier, Telekinetic Force Field is very useful.

Getting though with Hard Knocks and just ignore 7 DMG from villain attacks is just amazing.

Once in a while, Repurpose some tech for a huge ATK / THW and a second activation on an already strong hero (3/3/3 with Technovirus Purge in the victory pile).

Most of the time you don't have to revert to AE if you play your cards right.

Have fun!

His high starting health really helps make this approach work. I notice your PSS count is a lot lower than a lot of the other decks people have been sharing. What made you settle on 4 (including Purge)?

Hi @josseroo, playing solo I wouldn't want more than 4 side schemes either as that is more than enough to make Telekinetic Blast game-ending. @neothechosen it looks like you don't aim to make a lot of use of Askani'son in this deck as you're playing Iron Fist and Hard Knocks. I'd have thought that was the obvious build-around card in green Cable (as in my deck at marvelcdb.com.) Why did you decide against it?

@josseroo``@adsarf Hi! Sorry it took a while, been a crazy week! Regarding Player Side Schemes, Lock and Load only has Plasma Rifle as a target, and you can already get it with Superpower Training. And Take Out the Guards works against Hard Knocks so it was a no go. Still I think you need at least 4 to max out Plasma Rifle.

Askani'son has been seldom useful, but I admit it isn't my main focus. Playing against Juggernaut and Stryfe, getting tough seems like the best way to go to stop those huge hits. Still useful otherwise, and should be a match for a perfect defense deck such as yours!
