Rocket Raccoon - Overkill! (update)

Hadn't played Rocket in a long, long time! I wanted to take the dust off a few of those heroes who are warming the bench. A LOT has happened since I last built a deck for Rocket, and tons of cards actually make him even more enjoyable. And so, I wanted to share this list, which has been tons of fun.

The dream when you play Rocket is to have the opportunity to build a solid board, blast away minions, trigger "murdered you!"and revert to AE for some "tinkering" too. The deck has it all. A few pointers:

• Lock and Load and Superpower Training are especially good for Rocket, since they can both help you get Particle Cannon and Rocket Launcher, plus they thin your deck as they go to the victory pile. The dream is defeating both in one turn by thwarting twice (I've Got a Plan);

• Tons of draw from "Bring It!" and "Murdered you!"

• With Thruster Boots in play, enable the Honed Technique / Dive Bomb combo, perfect to trigger "Murdered you!".

• Honed Technique also has a cool synergy with Relentless Assault if you can feed it both and (Salvage comes to mind)

• Of course, confuses (Professor X / Psylocke) to help with the return to AE and benefit from "tinkering" (use it to recycle Battery Pack of course).

• Keep control of the threath situation with your own THW (3 with Thruster Boots is pretty good) and your allies, plus the occasional double-thwart using I've Got a Plan

• Schadenfreude is a dream to combine with honed / dive bomb and multiple targets.
