After nearly giving up on finding an Angel deck that could handle expert Ultron I finally landed on this and had an absolute blast.
I stuck to these few rules:
- Use attack events as Angel ONLY. Switch to Archangel when you're ready to deliver the final blow.
- Constantly ready using Ready to Rumble and Techno-Organic Wings to chip away with Attack events and Scheming with Angel during Ultron's second stage
- Mange the threat level on Assault on NORAD using the Keep Them Busy, Into the Fray and especcially Adaptive Plummage so you make use of confusion as often as you can.
- Either use Dive Bomb to wipe out large swathes of enemies or Bombs Away if the minions become stronger that 1HP such as in Ultron's third stage or if Upgraded Drones comes out (luckily this never happened to me.
- Prioritize stunning and confusing especially in the mid-game
- DRAW DRAW DRAW using "Bring It!", Worthington Industries, Plan of Attack and Drop Kick. Holding onto cards too long and not drawing is your worst enemy.
- Avoid ever getting to Countdown to Oblivion
When I do this again I'm considering swapping in a Martial Prowess and Cannonball for a Bombs Away or Into the Fray
