Cajun Man Taunts His Way To Victory

Gambit has taken a liking to taunting his enemies and in this deck he's going to be doing it to cause them pain. In early testing I ran through my normal test subjects of Taskmaster and Mister Sinister. I was also able to beat Venom Goblin which is always a task. The whole idea around this deck is to 1.) Get the upgrades out and make the enemy pay for attacking you 2.) Build Charge Counters and use cheap Attack events to do serious damage.

Gambit's Staff, Electrostatic Armor and Dauntless can all deal 1 damage to the enemy when they initiate attacks. Fully set up, you can deal 3 back the enemy and if Gambit's Guild Armor is in play you can also ready. The fun of this is to play Taunt to get the 3 card draw but also deal damage at the enemy. In this deck it basically becomes an attack event. Gambit does have a hard time thwarting and that is why Hard to Ignore is included as well as Bait and Switch. Bait and Switch will also deal damage back to the enemy if you defend that attack. For Dauntless to be effective you need to be at full hp, so we do have Endurance in here to give us a boost and keep that in effect. For the Attack events, cheap cards like First Hit can become a 5 damage for 1 resource and Fighting Fit can become an 8 damage for 2 resources. Brother Voodoo is in here to pull an event which is almost a guarantee given how many events are in this deck. Professor X is in here because he's in every deck now lol but seriously he provides great thwarting and can put a confuse status out. This can allow you to flip down and use Mutant Education to recur some identity cards like Charged Card or Molecular Acceleration.

Overall I have had a blast with this deck. Alot of defense decks have stagnant hero turns but with all of the Attack events you are continuously punishing the enemy. Any tips to make this deck more efficient would be welcomed and I hope you guys enjoy it as I have.
