This "Beast Mode" Black Panther deck is designed to maximize resource generation and efficiency, primarily through the strategic use of the ally Beast. The basic premise is to leverage the synergy between Black Panther's resource cards and Beast's ability to grab resources, ensuring a steady build-out of your board. Once your board is built out, the focus shifts to playing allies and consistently triggering events like Wakanda Forever! to control threat and deal significant damage.
Mulligan Strategy:
- In your opening hand, prioritize keeping Beast, Shuri and any of Black Panther's signature upgrades you draw. If these aren't present, mulligan aggressively to find them. This strategy ensures a strong early-game setup, allowing you to quickly establish resource generation and upgrade synergies.
- Focusing on these key cards in your mulligan sets the stage for a powerful and consistent game plan. Beast ensures resource availability, Shuri accelerates your upgrade setup and even 1-2 of Black Panther's upgrades make Wakanda Forever! highly effective, allowing you to adapt to the challenges ahead and maintain control throughout the game.
Strategy tips:
- Maximize Beast's Utility: Use Beast's ability to fetch resource cards, ensuring you have the necessary resources to play your high-impact cards consistently.
- Efficient Resource Management: Utilize The Power in All of Us and The Power of Leadership to efficiently play high-cost allies and supports. Pair these with Make the Call to cycle allies continuously.
- Frequent Ally Activations: Leverage Command Team and Rapid Response to get multiple uses out of your allies, especially those that allow more card draws, such as Beast, Ironheart, and Kaluu.
- Resource Bonanza: Once BP's board is built out, use the excess resources to recur Lockjaw from the discard pile or other allies using Make the Call.
