This deck focuses on Phoenix’s two traits—-which Team-Building Exercise works with both—-Psionic and X-Men.

Psi-Bow Attack and Psychic Assault are both cheap attacks that work well with The Power of the Mind—-along with many of Phoenix’s identity-specific cards.

Aggression has some of the best X-men allies, particularly Wolverine with piercing, Psylocke with Confuse, Sunfire’s ability to remove attachments, and Forge’s tutor ability. All work with Team Building Exercise, and all but Forge work with The Power of Aggression.

Even though this is an Aggression deck, Phoenix can still build out. You can keep her restrained until the turn you are ready to win to minimize the risk of facing her nemesis.

I’m still testing the deck. Try it out and enjoy.

I always love seeing Team-Building Exercise. This looks like it could really lean into the damage! Do you find yourself missing the basic double resource cards at all?

A thought: The basic double resource cards can be used for nearly every card in the deck.

Power of Aggression only has one advantage with its more limited targets, which is potentially hitting the kickers on Magik/Sunfire easier due to the wild.

Imo, it's probably better to stick with the basic doubles.

@Astrodar Thanks! She’s performing well against in testing. She keeps the scheme down until she is ready to pop, and usually wins the turn of (or the turn after) becoming unleashed.

@Dansome You know, I worried about that, and I even considered switching out a couple of allies to include the basic doubles. But the deck has worked so nicely. I have never had an issue—while I definitely see the potential. I’ll test it out in the future.
