X-23 - (The villain is a) Cornered Animal

X-23 is among the best basic thwarters in the game, given her innate ability to ready with X-23's Claws. Once she has Heroic Intuition in play, she can thwart for 6 a turn without using any cards in her hand. Overwatch and Making an Entrance push the threat removal even higher, and allow her to remove preposterous amounts of threat in conjunction with Animal Instinct. The ceiling here is 16 threat removed in a single basic thwart: that's crazy! (You could push it even higher with things like Surveillance Specialist or Cell Phone, if you wanted to.)

Honey Badger is obviously good, but I find that Sisterhood is sufficient to keep her on the board frequently, rather than build the deck around her. Weapon X ensures that you can always play her on your alter-ego turns; shuffle her back into the deck with Laura Kinney's Action if necessary, find an X-23 card with Weapon X if necessary, and use that card to find Honey Badger with Sisterhood.

The cost curve of this deck is very low, so you should be able to consistently play 2-3 cards a turn. Multitasking is included not just because it's good and extra threat removal, but because it gives you an inexpensive way to clear Confuse without using up your basic activation. Use your basic-enhancing combos for explosive bursts of damage or threat removal as the situation requires!
