Magik the Gathering

A fast-paced aggro deck where Cosmo is the best boy.

Since Magik plays with the top card face up, Cosmo should never take consequential damage from attacking.

We can buff him with:

• Enraged
• Energy Spear
• Sidearm
• Boot Camp

Now Cosmo deals 7 damage per attack.

We can also attack with Cosmo twice a turn with our C.I.T.T. support.

Setting up should be pretty quick; although we need to draw Cosmo, we have a wealth of cards to cycle our deck.

• Scrying
• Spiritual Meditation
• Legion
• Ironheart

We should also try to mulligan for Cosmo at the start of the game. (Unless we draw Avengers Mansion/Helicarrier and want to start the game in a supporting role.)

After we get Cosmo online, our priority should be supporting our teammates. We mostly use low-cost spells on our turns, so give your teammates some resource love. You can also throw down some healing with First Aid/Basic Spell.

Summary:

This deck should get Cosmo online ASAP, then help your teammates ramp up. 14 damage/turn isn't the biggest combo I have seen, but it is consistent, and it is enough. Add to this your role as a support, and your versatility with what spells you play, and you should be a valuable member of your pod.

Notes: We don't run Strength, Energy, or Genius because we cannot play them from the top of our deck.
