This is my first attempt at building a deck to defeat a specific enemy in solo play. Ultron and his drones made my life with my other favorite heroes a living hell. My plan was to use T'Challa's Retaliation, and have lots of sources of small damage to keep the number of Ultron's drones small. To counter the hp loss when tanking drone attacks, there are a couple copies of First Aid in the mix.
The main ways to deal damage to Ultron are Uppercut and Relentless Assault (the latter to take a drone down at the same time), while Tigra and Tac Team take down the drones. Hulk smashes some things some time.
I played the deck several times. One of the problems I noticed is that Ultron may mill essential cards away, like some of the Panther upgrades.
It may not be the best core set only deck out there, but it dealt with Ultron.
Looks good! Tigra will stick around for a long time while she's blasting drones! I like BP Leadership for Ultron for Hawkeye, as he can blow up drones when the enter play!
