On your left! Falcon and his aerial cohorts are darting across the skies to keep things under control.

The genesis for this deck was the desire to utilize cards that haven't seen much play personally and to create a flexible deck. Generally, I find chump blocking boring so if I play with allies I try to use them in other ways. Mutant allies were avoided simply because I play a lot of X-Men & X-Force characters and wanted to do something different. Obviously, Cannonball works really well here if you want to add or swap him in.

With the exception of Snowguard, each of these allies inherently has the Aerial trait. Snowguard will generally be used with 2 shift counters to gain the trait and be a strong thwarter for us.

So the idea here is to get your allies out, and keep them alive as long as you can. Cloud 9 and Aero will mostly be used for their action to boost THW/ATK for the team, respectively. Team Training, Wingman and Inspiring Presence help keep them around longer. But if you do need to lose one, the economy here can easily get them back out once they come back around.

Half of our deck is Aerial traited so there shouldn't be much trouble triggering Flight Squadron to ready up whichever ally you need at the time. Inspiring Presence, Flying Formation, Talon Line and Hugin & Munin all offer ways to ready characters as well so we can really take advantage of the boosts from Cloud 9/Aero as needed or ready them specifically to boost THW/ATK even higher for the team.

Air Supremacy is there for some minion control and works well in multiplayer games especially. It's important to know it is not an attack so it gets around things like Guard and Retaliate.

Soaring Acrobatics can come in clutch to get that last boost needed to finish off an enemy or scheme. And we are running pretty resource heavy here, so having a Resource Reserve is very handy.
