When other people play 'pool, they play it safe. They grab the triple resource cards, maybe a Healing Factor and a Stick-To-Itiveness, and then they call it day. Not us. We're here for a good time, not a long time.

The goal of this deck is to get out Live Dangerously, giving everyone at the table +2 hand size, and then leave it out.

Psh. Shadowcat doesn't care about crisis icons. While she's phased, she can just ignore them. We have a multitude of ways to thwart the main scheme in this deck, including:

  1. 'Pool Inspection
  2. "I Got This"
  3. Airwalk
  4. Blackout
  5. Basic thwarts (increased by Synch)

We also have Storm to help with side schemes, and she can just dump the extra threat onto Live Dangerously. And I've included a couple First Aids & Tic-Tac-Toe to keep her alive, because she does some heavy lifting.

If that's not enough, well, maybe you shouldn't have stayed with five at the blackjack table.

When threat isn't a problem, we've got Laser Swords, giving you a base ATK of six.

I've included Enhanced Physique & The X-Jet to guarantee physical resources for Stick-To-Itiveness.

Barely a Scratch helps to avoid damage, though you should still prioritize Quick Shift if it's in hand (always try to end the player phase in phased form).

Mulligan is here to round out the deck, get to Live Dangerously quickly, and help avoid dead hands, and it works well with the resource dumps (Blackout & Tic-Tac-Toe).

By the time you're finished, you'll be drowning the villain in a toilet and demanding to know who #2 works for.

Edit: If you have a justice player at the table, it's a great idea to add in Plot Convenience and convince that justice player to tuck a justice event or two for you to use on the main scheme. If you like to keep the deck to 40 cards, I would replace one of the First Aids.

I enjoyed playing with you when you used this deck; it performed exactly as it was designed to do!

Played it. Loved it. Popped the main scheme, but worse things have happened.

Nice work. I built a linked pair of Cyclops and Cable decks using the Shadowcat ally and Mutant Mayhem just to accomplish the same thing. I like what you've done here.

This deck is absolutely awesome. Had a great time playing against She-Hulk on Expert and Living Dangerously in 3P. Super cool deck!
