Hypoesthesia - An Overview

EDIT: I wasn't aware that Retaliate & Excelsior didn't work with Defeat the Hydra, so I made some minor changes!

Hypoesthesia is the medical term for numbness, which involves a loss of sensation.

The objective of this deck is to take attacks with minimum damages while completing your labors!

Hercules doesn't feel anything! (Protect Humanity)

Judoka Skill, Northstar, Preemptive Strike & Defiance can greatly reduce villain's damage while attacking! Here are some combos that makes you defend without exhausting:

• Judoka Skill + Northstar + Herc's Helm makes you defend against a potentially 0 ATK!

• Judoka Skill + Defiance does the same as the previous example.

• Northstar + Herc's Helm, you take the villain's ATK and reduce it by one.

• Even with just Defiance or Preemptive Strike, you can still defend and just take villain's basic ATK.

Jocasta will help you grabbing the protection event you need. And if you cannot change form and heal, you still have Hercules' basic ATK with the Golden Mace against a minion or Second Wind if needed. (Against Ultron, the Golden Mace is jsut incredible!)

With this strategy, Unflappable is awesome since you can defend without exhausting and you can draw a card!

Ain't nobody got time for that! (Embody Pathos & (Defeat the Hydra)

With Limitless Stamina, Son of Zeus & What Doesn't Kill Me, you got many occasions to ready up and use Hercules' ATK stat to remove threat on the side scheme or beat up your minion!

And if you cannot deal with the side scheme quickly, Vivian can blank it for you!

Then, when you complete a labor, if you decide to change form, two things can happen:

• Hidden Base will give you a tough status card. So the next villain's attack will be blocked by it!

• Angel's Aerie is also great since each time you use Herc's Helm, you defend without exhausting, then you can add a fatigue counter each turn! So when you change form, you can heal also without exhausting!

As for the other cards:

• Professor X will help you with the THW and the confuse if you need to change to AE form

• Brother Voodoo and Yellow Jacket will help you grabbing respectively an event or an upgrade. They will also help you with threat management!
