Mission Brief
Every company eventually has a problem big enough that someone says "let's put a Tiger Team on it." Translation: we're going to ignore every process we've built, grab whoever's good, and just fix the thing.
Tigra has assembled that team. She doesn't micromanage. She solves actionable problems (with Hunted minions), delegates them to the right specialist, and gets back to work. No syncs. No standups. Just output.
The Org Chart
Beta Ray Bill is your 10x employee. Tigra pulls a minion with Hunted, Bill kills it and removes 2 threat from the main scheme. If that minion had Hunted on it, Tigra readies. That's the core loop. Tigra files the ticket, Bill closes it, Tigra clocks back in.
X-23 runs the same play. She handles a Hunted minion, Tigra readies and can attack the villain again. Hugin & Munin can also help the readies for your force-multipliers.
Not every minion needs to be resolved immediately. Professor X and Mirage stun the ones worth keeping around. Maybe they're fueling Precinct HQ thwart, maybe they're padding the headcount. Either way, those minions are on a performance improvement plan.
Kaluu keeps cards moving through your hand. Moon Knight shows up, does solid work, doesn't talk about it at lunch. Not every hire needs a LinkedIn post.
Performance Reviews
Inspired is a promotion. Beta Ray Bill goes from 3 ATK to 4, and that compounds fast. Leadership Skill bumps an ally's stats by 1 on activation, so a Bill with both is swinging for 5. That's exceeding expectations. Coordinated Attack lets an ally have some fun while Tigra attacks the villain. Cross-functional collaboration, but the kind that actually works.
Team Training is your retention strategy. United We Stand is the all-call: it heals allies for 1 HP and gets them ready for another activation (though, if you're doing it right, you can also heal a friendly hero in need). That drip of healing is what keeps you from backfilling with Call for Backup, though it's there when you need that extra recruiting help.
Make the Call is your recruiting pipeline, and The Triskelion is the budget approval for another headcount.
Tigra's Job Description
Handle the board problem statements. That's the whole job description.
Hunted brings minions to her, and she delegates them. Sharp Claws and Tooth and Claw point at the villain. Cat-Like Reflexes keeps her standing through the villain phase. Cat's Head Amulet pays dividends over the course of the game.
When an ally finishes a Hunted minion and Tigra readies, that's overtime. She doesn't bill for it. She just gets back to the objective.
Don't Mistake Activity for Progress
This deck can buff allies, draw cards, stun minions, and recur allies from the discard. It feels productive. But if you spend a full round optimizing your board without pushing damage or removing threat, you just ran a meeting that could have been an email.
Your tablemates are out there taking hits while you're reorganizing your Trello board. The engine serves the mission, not the other way around.
I cannot stress this enough. I've seen too many Tigra decks hunt minions and burn out the table. If you're only solving the problems you create, the table might give you a Performance Improvement Plan!

May 04, 2026I didn’t know the business term, so I was expecting White Tiger to be here. |
When Tigra first came out I had a deck that featured Beta Ray for the exact same purpose of handling minions to avoid getting overwhelmed. Love this version emphasizing buffing the allies, great work!
