Originally, I tried Recruitment Drive with Wasp, but it's very tough to play in mostly Alter-Ego without any threat removal. Yes, Wasp can continue to bring back Recruitment Drive and Meditation repeatedly, on top of First Aid, but it wasn't enough.
After a bunch of mediocre performances, I pulled it apart, not expecting to find a good replacement hero. Then I read Jennifer Walters, who automatically reduces threat by one each round, plus several cards to mitigate threat while remaining in Alter- Ego.
Every support can be used in Alter-Ego (Note: you must play Avengers Compound in Hero form), so that allows you to flip back. With her hero ability, flipping her every turn could be an ideal way to play her.
Everything else is a routine Avengers ally deck. Originally with Wasp, I tried only high-cost allies, not worrying about Avengers. But I think the deck works better with Avengers. And I added some lower cost allies so all you needed is a Meditation.
Last note: you can Meditation into Recruitment Drive but I don't think that's an ideal play. I think it's better to use them at separate times for different cards. Don't be afraid to use Meditation for your higher cost supports either.
