I can imagine Matt Murdock selling bits at a boot fair, late in his old age. I imagine someone comes up to his stall and says, “how much is this?” To which Matt replies, oh that… that will cost you 1 effective resource.

This deck focuses on the upgrades available which give greater value to Cross-Examination and Living Lie Detector. More so Cross-Examination to increase your damage output.

This deck particularly likes minions coming out by themselves. Which is great news when playing the new Fear No Evil expansion box. Raft Breakout especially will have you surrounded by minions on turn 1 and throughout.

First things first, build DD! Use Aggressive Conditioning and Combat Training with his Daredevil's Billy Club to get a base attack of 5. The Man Without Fear will allow you to ready, at the cost of one health and Acute Tactility (1 of your sense deck cards) will do the same once a scheme/enemy has been defeated. That potentially gives you 10-15 damage very often.

Gatekeeper gives you threat control. Just a note that threat is not something DD really cares about and is tooled up to deal with massive amounts of threat by himself. Or just ask Foggy Nelson to thwart for you in AE.

Suppressing Fire gives you recovery and Marked gives you overkill. When using Marked you should also have a combo in mind.

Depending on the minion here is an example: use Acute Tactility and stick it onto the minion. Use Marked to do the same and then use your basic attack = 5 + 3 (Acute Tactility) which is a tasty number with overkill.

Alternatively, when attacking the villain attach as many upgrades as you can to them, either with your own side scheme Focus the Senses or by using Deft Focus or Helicarrier then use Cross-Examination to do a base of 3 plus 1 for every upgrade attached.

Ultimately, get built and then dish out upgrades like they are going out of fashion.

Lastly, the allies we have are diverse and pretty cheap. Cheap as in effective resources. Rather than cheap as they’d happily go to a fast-food restaurant rather than a swanky place.

Sunfire comes in handy very often, especially in those dark moments. Professor X - classic. Throg for a cheeky tough card, when engaged with a minion and Spider-Girl to provide a bit of reprieve if the minions are getting out of control.

This deck has been used against multiple villains and mod sets with the new Fear no Evil box with a friend playing Justice Iron-Man. A huge thanks to that friend because I wouldn’t have been able to make this deck without him. He knows who he is.

Try it out and I hope you’ll have fun!

Jimbo.
