Spider-Man (Rhino Heroic Solo Protection)

IMPORTANT: The "3x Preemptive Strike" in the deck are actually 3x Bait and Switch, the new Protection event in Scarlet Witch.

With this deck, I wanted to utilize Bait and Switch with its most natural synergy - Spider-Man's Spider-Sense - and instead of the typical stun-lock or full defense Protection builds, instead play in a way that begs the villain to attack but stifles those attacks with Backflip, Tough status cards (on Luke Cage or War Machine, or gained by Muster Courage), and disposable allies (Clea, Nick Fury, Brother Voodoo, and Lockjaw).

I wanted some personal protection for Spidey but without him needing to defend, so I included Endurance, The Night Nurse, and three copies of Energy Barrier, the latter two being very helpful toward dealing damage to Rhino (since Energy Barrier reflects back and The Night Nurse allows Spider-Man to remove Stunned or Confused status cards).

Between Enhanced Spider-Sense, Get Behind Me!, and Black Widow, we should have unparalleled treachery denial, allowing us to skip the really bad ones (Advance, Masterplan, or Shadows of the Past) and get on to easy ones like I'm Tough! or Hard To Keep Down.

I took down Rhino Heroic 1 with such ease that I'm very interested in trying this deck out against Heroic 2!
