I've only recently started playing this game, and my friends and I are only using Core Set at the moment. I've been playing a lot of what I suspect is a fairly standard Core Set only She Hulk aggression deck because She Hulk is my favorite of the core set heroes, but I've found that aside from Tigra and Combat Training most of the cards just feel like worse versions of cards She Hulk already has access to in her own pool. I think the most useful any of the other cards have ever been were the time I used Relentless Assault to remove a stun so that I could follow up by attacking twice with Combat Training and One-Two Punch.

I figured I'd look at the other aspects and see if any spoke to me and immediately Counter-Punch stuck out like a sore thumb. She Hulk has a high attack stat, so the more ways she has to attack the better. One-Two Punch helps put out consistent damage, but the more ways you have to attack multiple times the better (except for Tenacity, that card is just not worth it). The rest of the cards are mostly there to help Black Widow and Superhuman Law Division go off and to let She Hulk make use of her solid defense stat without giving up on attacking (and in the case of Armored Vest to make that solid defense stat even better). It's low on allies because you shouldn't need other attackers too badly with Ground Stomp and with the deck's focus on blocking and recovery you shouldn't need body blockers to often.

Superhuman Law Division and Black Widow help you thwart. Because of the resource requirements for both of their abilities, you really like , which is why the deck tries to lean a bit more heavily into that than the other resource types. Remember that if Hellcat is on the field you can always have her thwart, then return her to your hand and pitch her to activate your Law Division. Legal Practice gives you a bit of flexibility for what you can use your cards for, but mostly I find it to be inefficient in terms of how many cards you spend in exchange for what thwarting you do (still, can be useful for pitching your hand prior to using Split Personality to flip if you've got enough extra card draw and/or ways to reduce resource cost to pull that off).

Because this deck is largely about trying to get She Hulk to attack more frequently, it really appreciates playing alongside an Aggression deck that can give you Combat Training. +1 seems like a small boost but it adds up, especially when you're pumping out multiple attacks per round. Spidey aggression in particular since he doesn't need to attack very much, getting by mostly off of playing Uppercut and Swinging Web Kick, so he can give up his Combat Training more easily and might like if you can donate your spare Armored Vest his way when you draw it.

Overall, the deck is probably not that great. It's held back a lot, I think, by the core-set-only restrictions. A lot of these cards definitely feel like filler, or like they only kind of do the job I want. Main consideration right now is if I actually want Nick Fury or if perhaps Mockingbird is actually better. Nick shows up, does something big and splashy, then body blocks before he leaves and that's nice, but I don't really need the body block and Mockingbird can stick around to eventually get more value and her stun can protect allies better. Currently sticking with Nick because his resource type is more valuable to the deck, but we'll see how I like it with more playtesting.
