Spider-Man: Playing defense

I've been intrigued with the idea of using Spider-man's defensive capabilities to constantly attract the attention of the villain while still working through the scheme and defeating the big bad. Spider-man should always have a resource available to pay for one of his defensive cards due to his hero Interrupt and the upgrades should always be available if Helicarrier, Quincarrier or Avengers Mansion is deployed early in the game. There is an obvious lacking of allies with only Black Cat and Nick Fury making this a real 'solo' deck and although Protection is to me the obvious aspect choice the deck does suffer from the usual lack of thwart issues so once Black Cat is on the table it may be her only role to keep the threat down every turn aided only by Never Back Down. This is my first attempt at self built deck so I'd appreciate any pointers or tips on cards that could be swapped in/out from you guys and gals.
