Thanks to the help of journeyman2 i have finally completed an excellent protection list for Back Widow. The deck tactic is one: find the Synth-Suit and the Armored Vest and defend everything. If we are not lucky enough to find the two cards at the beginning, Desperate Defense and Never Back Down will allow us to defend ourselves and stun the criminal, giving us a few more turns to set our cards. Once found we will be able to ready the hero every turn, thanks to the preparations such as Attacrobatics, Grappling Hook, Defensive Stance. Hard to Ignore in the meantime will remove the threats at each defense in which we will not suffer damage (therefore practically always) while at the same time Unflappable will give us an extra card. Allies keep a low cost to improve deck speed, and being careful, Starhawk will be practically immortal, guaranteeing to stay on the field every turn. I'm testing this deck in the expert red skull campaign and have easily defeated crossbones, absorbent man, and taskmaster for now. The low cost of the cards helps speed up the hero's preparation a lot. I practically never change into the alter ego form.

UPDATE I found the big weakness of this deck: it can't keep up when faced with an enemy full of minions. I realized when facing Zola, you don't have time to prepare and still can't handle too many attacks in one turn. For single-player campaigns with criminals of that type, choose another aspect rather than protection. For everything else, however, he holds the field perfectly

Just played this against Drang and really enjoyed it...super fun deck! I love the constant small reactions on the villain turn.... Defending, getting retaliate from the armor, activating an attacrobatics to send some damage at the villain, another dmg from using a preparation, readying, drawing a card and removing some threat all at once is fantastic!

I can see where a lot of enemies could bog it down, but overall a great deck...thanks for posting it!!
