First Gamora Deck.
Keen Instincts + Concussive Blow/Drop Kick is a deadly combo. Beat Expert Collector/Nebula handily and beat Ronan with some pain.

The only must-play support/upgrades this build are Keen instincts and Conditioning room. SKilled investigator if you have extra resources and under surveillance is so good in true solo especially against the GMW villains. Hellicarrier is more for multiplayer and It never hit the table in my games, it could easily be switched with a double resource or Sense of Justice, etc. Secondly, I only played allies if I had extra cash. All the allies are two costs with the exception of Fury. I only block with allies if my health was low (they were more of insurance policies) otherwise it's better to tank some hits or use Gamora's 2-defense stat becasue this build wants to flip down in the mid game and take advantage of her sustain. Extra cards come from flipping down using her alter-ego and conditioning room to get the 3 card advantage. Impede helped keep threat low and Concussive Blow allows for flip downs. I also like Impede because it gives you a rebate and so does drop kick (which is one reason I prefer it over drop kick) I found Drop Kick was enough especially since you can cycle it a little with Conditioning room and you want to take some hits and flip-down a lot so you don't need a stun every turn. I like relentless assault especially for the GMW encounters and becasue I wasn't playing Gamora's Sword in this build. After you enter the midgame (half a deck cycle or so) and at least one Keen instincts out, priority is something like: Stun/confuse Threat/Minions Play allies |
May 25, 2021Turn the Tide could also be used instead of Relentless Assault, however with impede AND clear the area you can run into some sequencing issues and Damage to the villain isn't a problem with Her precision ability and playing Drop Kick/Concussive Blow. The weakness is killing beefy minions which relentless assault helps with. I've found three primary ways to build her in the day that I've player her: I think building around Keen instincts/Conditioning-room (Justice and also leadership) is her strongest build and incredibly strong. Building around her Sword in Aggression is viable but better in Multiplayer. Building around her Hero ability in Protection is fun but not a competitive deck. |
May 26, 2021Thanks Just for interest my Leadership Gamora deck is at marvelcdb.com It still seems to be the only one on MarvelCDB, which is a bit surprising to me. I'm sure there's a better one out there somewhere. |
Hi @ToneeTales. I made a similar deck adding Tackle at marvelcdb.com The trouble I found with this build was being able to play the stun/confuse cards consistently. With so few cards staying on the table I just wasn't drawing enough to reliably get one in hand. How did you manage that?
