Star-Lord - Ally Swarm with Venom | 1 | 2 | 0 | 1.0 |

Venom + Star-Lord's "What could go wrong?" Hero Ability = DAMAGE!!
Warning: this deck is not for the faint of heart.
Method: The new Venom basic ally has 6 HP and Star-Lord's hero ability helps play him. Attack with him, next use Venom's response after every encounter card that phase (the normal one + one from Venom + one from your hero ability), attack with him again next turn - and then Venom's at 1 HP, so defend with him before he ends up drawing you another encounter card.
That's potentially 10-15 damage (practically a whole villain stage solo) AND a blocked villain attack! Not bad.
...And using him up this quickly means you only take one extra encounter card for Venom's entire life-cycle. ...Unless you're crazy enough to bring him straight back?

You can guarantee at least 3 damage per health point and speed him on his way out with Command Team for sweet burst damage. This combos with Blaze of Glory!
-
Meditation helps you set up just a little quicker, Reinforced Suit can give Venom some extra juice to go further. The rest of the deck is a mix of general-use allies that can also push the damage when necessary. And Drax. Drax loves Command Team too - but don't prioritize him unless you're ready to start ending the game.
Summary: Overall, this deck is built as a soft rush deck. Slow enough to set up a bit and draw the Lethal Protector himself, Venom. But fast enough to smash the villain when you flip the kill switch. This deck is less risky in multiplayer - but you'll have to share the glory.
Good luck!
