Cyclops - FULL BLAST!

I just got some time to dive into MG, finally. Sadly Phoenix isn't available here, but Cyclops is the hero that really got my attention so far.

The original idea behind this deck is to recur lots of stuff, but mainly, because of the Phoenix ally, Full Blast (hence the title).

Indeed, this deck allows you to recur double resources with Beast, allies with Make the Call and Rapid Response, and your own cards with Phoenix (mainly Full Blast for the win).

Get in play ASAP: Ruby Quartz Visor Utopia

WATCH OUT! The Utopia card has more text than what the website show, allowing you to ready when you play an X-MEN ally.

Those cards will allow you to pull off nice combos:

• attach Exploit Weakness (or any TACTIC) to the villain; play Full Blast. Have Phoenix defeat herself from consequential damage (using Command Teams if you have to) or a block, Rapid Response her back, ready from Utopia if it is during your turn, grab Full Blast from the discard thx to Phoenix's ability. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until the next turn to use it (thankls at Zack for pointing it out, "Optic Blast' is once per round only).

• Other nice combos include recuring Polaris for TOUGH status cards over and over, Professor X for confuses and high THW (activating twice with Command Team), Beast for resources (bringing him back with Rapid Response is just the dream!).

• Double thwart with Cyclops when you play an ally (readying from Utopia).
