Hey all! We are in a new renaissance of marvel champions deck-building with... Wasp. I participated in a challenge recently to make a deck using Even the Odds which seems like a really fun card but often isn't worth the payoff.

Enter the Wasp.

The Mission: Use Wasp's Small But Mighty ability to tee up extra villain damage. See if you can take down the villain without attacking using some justice shenanigans. If you like this deck you can also check out the Vision variant (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/26874/pacifist-vision-combo-deck-1.0).

The Set-Up: On your first deckpass you need to focus on setting up your big game winning combo.

  • Hack into the villains deck with One Way or Another to get 3 + side schemes into play.
  • Leave some malware for the villain with upgrades that boost the defeat of these side schemes like Followed, Chance Encounter, and Skilled Investigator.
  • Line up the defeat of these side schemes using Wasp's Giant Form - spreading thwart around to set them up all to defeat at once.

The Combo:

  • Play Even the Odds to defeat 3+ side schemes and sting the villain with your small pings add up to 18+ damage!
  • 3 damage from even the odds
  • 3 damage from Small but mighty
  • 12 damage from 3 copies of Followed
  • Plus you can go and find 3 allies and a card draw from Skilled Investigator!

Card Choices: Every card in this deck is here to help us complete the mission.

  • Vivian can blank problematic side schemes and be recurred into you deck in a pinch.
  • Jack Flag and Wiccan provide more non-attack damage to throw at the villain.
  • Quasar can help set up your combo while Jessica Jones can hold down the main scheme while you leave those pesky side schemes in the way.
  • I choose to include one copy of Operative Skill and one copy of Overwatch but you could up yourself to 2x Operative Skill to boost your even the odds.

I hope you have fun with this combo deck and set-up a killer trap for the villain!
