Deck concept

Ironheart is all about progress counters, and she can only get those from her own hero cards, so the rest of her deck has to be all about drawing and filtering cards so she can do that as fast as humanly possible.

The approach in this deck is to recycle Moon Girl and Nick Fury with Pinpoint so as to play each of them multiple times in every deck pass.

Card choices

Moon Girl is the key card here. She's one ER cheaper than Nick Fury but thwarts and draws just as much as him, and she can either block like he does or stay in play another turn to thwart a second time, so she's more flexible too. Ironheart can play Moon Girl in either hero or alter ego form, but to get the full benefit she needs to be paid for with all resources. Assess the Situation, Enhanced Awareness, Ingenuity and a bunch of mostly allies help us get there.

As well as her events and Stroke of Genius, Ironheart can also gain progress counters when in Alter Ego so a source of Confuse is super useful. Professor X provides that, and can also be recycled with Pinpoint.

Finally Champions Mobile Bunker is always great for Ironheart. Over time it will pull more progress-generating cards into your hand, and also help you see those recycled allies sooner.

That's the heart of the deck. Play one of those key allies every turn, get to Version 3, and win the game.

Playing the deck

So the first step with this deck is to find Pinpoint. Mulligan for him, Moon Girl and Nick Fury. With the right 6 cards in hand, you can actually play all three of them turn 1, though it won't happen that often. Once you have Pinpoint down, you should be able to put an ally back into the deck every turn, and draw one almost every turn, which gives great acceleration.

Once Pinpoint is down and you have the extra hand size from Version 2 there are a couple of other lines of play you can consider. One is to use Build Support to cheat Knowhere in and loop Starhawk endlessly with Team-Building Exercise for extra card draw. The other is to pair up Brawn and Med Team to generate yet more . Both approaches are pretty powerful and I tend to go for whichever the deck presents me with at the right time. I've never had a game run long enough to do both, though.

With nine supports and seven upgrades, the deck will get thin as you get set up, meaning that you'll see Nick and Lunella even more often. That isn't a problem, though, because you can literally never have too many progress counters.

How to lose with this deck

Before you get Pinpoint into play you may wind up defending a bit with Ironheart, because you ideally don't want to lose Moon Girl to the discard pile. With only the 4 hand-size of Version 1 you can rapidly fall behind he encounter deck if you start a turn exhausted, so the way to lose with this deck is really with your mulligan. Make sure you get that early card draw so you can make progress through your deck as you make progress on your counters. Once you get to Version 3 the game is as good as won.

Conclusion

Moon Girl is the best thing on Disney+, and she's pretty much the best card in Marvel Champions too. Genius all round!

Knowhere doesn't work here; I switched it out with "Go for Champions!". Thanks for the deck!

Sorry to miss your comment @Cadavaca. Knowhere can be put into play using Build Support.
