I got nightcrawler early and have been playing this deck which has been a ton of fun.

Idea is nightcrawler is going to be defending either with Bamf! or regular defending. Get Kurt's Cutlasses out as quick as possible to give him 4 defense and retaliate. Our allies will be used to thwart and power Gunboat Diplomacy. For gunboat we have 2 xforce targets in Deadpool and Hope Summers who will also double as an xmen character. Bishop, hope and nightcrawler are our xmen targets for gunboat.

With Mission Training on hope or bishop, they will have 3 thwart and with Heroic Intuition on nightcrawler he will be up to 3 as well. When we utilize gunboat we are typically going to be able to remove 5 or 6 threat and deal 5 or 6 damage and this can be paid for with Prehensile Tail. We also have Game Time to ready the allies up and get another activation out of them. Justice Served can ready nightcrawler even through gunboat clearing threar to get another activation out of him as well. Bishop is great for this deck as you are defending with nightcrawler which will give Bishop his energy counters. You can preserve his health using mission training/ gunboat then when counter are built up Attack for 6, ready with game time and deal another 6.

Sample turn with Hope and Nightcrawler both at 3 thwart and lay the trap out is to play gunboat exhausting them and removing 6 threat as well as 6 damage plus 5 more from lay the Trap. Ready hope with game time and deal another 2 damage. With skilled Investigator out we can also get a card draw. If we have Justice Served out Nightcrawler would ready as well for us to get another attack/thwart.

With bishop and hope out both with mission training, we can exhaust them to deal 6 damage/remove 6 threat. Ready bishop with game time to attack (2-6 damage depending on your counters). Deadpool can also be utilized for the xforce part of gunboat.

This deck can deal out some massive damage and handles threat really well.

Skilled Investigator allows us to draw each time we clear a side scheme.

One Way or Another keeps side schemes online and allows us to set up quicker.

Superpower Training is mainly for his cutlass but grab prehensile if you already have the cutlass out.

Lay the Trap is just fun especially when you clear it with gunboat for massive damage.

Generation X is great to grab any of nightcrawlers event cards.

Chance Encounter lets us grab an ally which early game is to get our gunboat targets online. Late game you can recur Daytripper to keep bamfs online.

Gunboat Diplomacy looks so fun, and I like the X-Force allies you slotted in for its use!

Dang, got to play this deck this morning, and while I enjoy alliance, this deck made it fun. And Game Time was such a great add to still get to use allies even if I exhausted them.

Nice deck ! Bishop cannot attack twice at 6 though sadly ;)
