When Scott Summers was looking for investment opportunities Legion sold him on the idea using Cerebro to run a mutant dating app. This deck it their adventures with their top client Rogue.
The set up to get the deck running as desired is to:
- Get Cerebro in play to grab an ally every turn.
- Get Legion in play to be able to search your entire deck with Cerebro and keep him in play by increasing his hp with Danger Room Training and Uncanny X-Men and by hitting resources with his response to using a basic power as the deck is intentionally resource heavy.
- Get Rogue in play and keeping her in play by increasing her hp with Danger Room Training and Uncanny X-Men and by healing her with X-Mansion. Then increasing her stats each turn by doing a damage to your other allies that you grab with Cerebro.
- Getting an Honorary X-Men on Cyclops so he can play Sneak Attack while in alter-ego.
A quick look at other cards in the deck:
- Forge helps get Cerebro and X-Mansion.
- Professor X and Psylocke allow you to go to alter-ego regularly.
- Colossus, Rockslide, and Wolverine have great attack to use and for Rogue to 'borrow'.
- Nightcrawler is great with Uncanny X-Men, The X-Jet, and Utopia out. Which would allow you to 'defend' an attack every turn, play another ally, use Rogue on that ally, and ready either that ally or Rogue with Utopia by playing Nightcrawler. He also has a resource.
- Sneak Attack can get an expensive ally in at a reduced cost to use for an activation, with Rogue, and possible a second activation with Utopia.
- Build Support is mainly for Uncanny X-Men but has several other useful targets.
Also, I'd like to say thanks to @teamcanadahockey2002 for a great deck that this deck is derived.
