I've been trying to find a home you got this and it's been awkard with needing to be able to afford allies consistently and not feeling like your avoiding the heroes kit.

Enter Captain Marvel, she's got way too much money for a pilots salary and we're going to exploit it. She also has some cards in her kit that you wont feel bad about not playing.

The premise of the deck is to draw way too many cards, play allies consistently, use their stats, give out toughs and then dump them for big turns from Captain Marvel.

This deck has proven to be really versatile as we can avoid damage with Ready for Action, habitually cycle the deck with Strength In Numbers as well as Caps hero/AE abilities, deal out big damage with our allies and handle threat.

To get set up we want allies and resource generators to power her hero ability.

Getting out Clarity of Purpose and Quincarrier allow us to utilize Caps ability every turn in hero form without sacrificing cards from our hand. Clarity will cancel out the heal but still gets you card draw.

Alpha Flight Station also let's us cycle the deck and drop dead cards. In AE we get to grab 2 cards as opposed to 1 in hero.

The main allies we want for you got this to maximize damage are:

Prior to sacrificing them, we can get alot of usage out of them.

-Gentle and x-23 can handle minions

-Venom provides solid thwart and attack plus deals more damage with his ability

-Dum Dum Dugan provides really strong thwart and attack

Dumping any of them with you got this gives Cap +3 attack as well as a ready.

One of my favorite ways to play this is to use someone like Dum Dum, get 2 attacks from him for 6 total damage. Play ready for action to give him a tough, let him defend for you. Then when your turn starts you can still dump him with you got this even while he's exhausted! In total that would be 9 damage (counting the bonus from you got this), a ready and a block.

Another way to play this is after playing Strength In Numbers generating card draw then playing you got this to dump an ally who's exhausted.

Bonus points for using SiN, playing Command Team to get another activation from them and then dumping with you got this.

Every ally in the deck can be a target for you got this except for Kaluu. All the others will get you 2/3 attack or 2/3 thwart. Kaluu is a great target for SiN or ready for action to get more value from him.

Rest of the kit:

Black Panther allows you to grab a blue event from discard. Based on board state, this could change which one you grab.

-need to draw? Grab SiN

-need to dodge an attack? Grab ready for action

-want to deal some extra damage? Grab you got this

Kaluu lets us search the top 5 cards for an event which allows us to continue our strategy. Very satisfying to grab SiN from his ability and then play it to draw more cards. Especially if that runs into you got this to dump an ally.

-Beast grabs a resource card which allows us to grab Energy Absorption. The amount of times I've played Beast, grabbed energy absorption and then played a 3 cost ally or Photonic Blast is ridiculous.

-White Tiger draws us cards upon entering play and provides solid stats.

-Falcon provides solid stats and can remove threat based on the #of treacheries you see when he enters play.

-Kid Omega brings solid stats and combos with clarity or purpose as well as quincarrier to trigger his when enter play ability.

-Call for Backup lets us put an ally into play. I usually opt for Dum Dum or Venom.

-Build Support grabs Quincarrier or alpha flight station.

Overall this deck has been a ton of fun and feels thematic with Cap getting the most out of her team. I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with the deck!

I dig it! Extra readies with Captain Marvel are pretty great, especially with her ability to pay for whatever she wants :p. But also, great call with Ready for Action, a tough ally is worth a ton when your starting defense is 1

@andyr I appreciate it! The ready for action was also really nice to preserve an ally to then dump them for you got this the next turn!

I kept trying to use “you got this” and just never felt like it worked. This is the first deck I have played where I actually like using the card. Good work!
