Spider-Man is a very flexible hero that is always a joy to bring to the table. This one focuses on staying in hero form all game while supporting your team through heavy encounter deck manipulation and stunning the villain. Black Widow will easily replace any bad non-treachery card drawn while Enhanced Spider-Sense and Get Behind Me! will completely negate any nasty treachery cards (looking at you Shadow of the Past).
Due to Web-Shooter, The Power of Protection, and Quincarrier we can afford the luxury of playing cards that require so many different types of resources to get their secondary effect. Black Widow and Second Wind want , Nova wants , and Tackle wants .
The damage output of this build isn't phenomenal, but it still consistently wears down the foe when they attack through Electrostatic Armor, Get Behind Me!, Nova, Preemptive Strike (doubling as a way to protect your allies), and Tackle (while stunning the villain).
The cost of the deck is fairly low to maintain a solid defensive strategy and remove the need to run the double resource cards. Even with four people, there are very few nasty surprises that will slip past Spidey.
