No basic doubles!?
No The Power of the Mind?!?
IPAC?!?!
43 Cards?!?!
This is Mayhem!!!
But being a psionic, Psylocke has this under control, she's organized if you will.
The idea here is to take advantage of her dual traits Psionic and X-Force to power Organizational Support. This new resource card lets you exhaust up to 3 allies or supports that share a trait with your hero to generate the resources on those cards. This means we can turn this into a 4 resource card potentially!
We're going to exploit it even further by giving her another trait with Children of the Atom to ensure more mayhem ensues.
Setup:
The main component of setup is getting Children of the Atom in play so that all allies share the X traits making mutant mayhem easier to play and we want as many supports in play as possible to have targets for org support.
The best target for this is IPAC, it's a 1 cost X-force support that can be exhausted to provide a resource.
Cerebro is another great support to get out early. Psylocke can search the whole deck in AE for an X-Men as a psionic meaning you can find whomever you need. Forge is the best target early as he can then grab another x-support for you. Cerebro can also be exhausted in hero from for Org Support.
X-Bunker pulls double duty as it can let you search the top of your deck equal to the number of side schemes in the victory display in AE and is another target for Org Support in Hero form.
Utopia can get Psylocke another ready once CoTa is in play or can ready an X-men ally if you don't have it out yet. Once again can be exhausted for Org Support once CoTa is out. This can also let us have 4 allies once CoTa is out as all will be X-Men.
Stepford Cuckoos can be cheated in by Build Support or played regularly once CoTa is out. Being a psionic support means it can also be exhausted to power Org Support. It's also very useful to cancel annoying treacheries. If you need extra card draw you can also use IPAC and then cancel a treachery if one comes up using the Cuckoos.
Gameplay:
The key strategy is to have Beast in play and then use Mutant Mayhem to bring him back out to grab Org Support to play Psylocke's events or another ally.
This works best having another ally with great when enter play abilities to double dip on the mayhem.
Angel can give an extra ready to Psylocke.
Cyclops can target an enemy to increase the damage they receive this phase by 1. If you're able to play him and use Mutant Mayhem on him the same turn, you can increase the damage by 2.
Marrow deals 2 damage to an enemy when they enter play.
M defeats a minion with less hit points than her on entering play.
Gambit can remove a nasty encounter card or get set up with solid attack/thwart.
Kid Omega can remove 1 threat from each scheme by spending a resource or deal 1 damage to each enemy by spending a resource.
Phoenix can heal an xmen ally for 1 and ready them. With CoTa out, this can be any ally.
We also have Leadership Skill to boost allies attack/thwart and it can be searched for with Training Regimen.
Psychic Kicker provides a ready for an ally and give them +2 for their thwart/Attack for that use. Someone like X-23 can attack for 5 or 6 in combination with Leadership Skill.
The beauty is having your allies down to 1 health and then exhausting them with Org Support to pay for Mutant Mayhem and bring them right back.
For example, I've had a turn look like this against Expert Sabertooth with the Savage Lands/ Sauron Mods:
Children of the Atom was out to allow exhausting X-men Supports or allies.
Attacked Giant Ape with psylocke for 3
Exhaust Beast and angel for org support to play mutant mayhem and bring beast/angel back
Bring Angel back readies Psylocke and bring Beast back gets us Org Support.
Attacked for 2 with Psylocke to finish off Giant Ape
Exhaust Utopia and ipac for org support to play Flurry of Blades dealing 4 damage finishing stage 2 and confusing sabertooth for a safe flip down.
Angel and beast both attacked for 2 dealing another 4 total damage.
Another turn against Expert Apoc 1 looked like:
Phoenix and M thwarted away the tyrants throne to bring a prelate into play.
Attacked with psylocke to remove the tough and deal 2 damage to the prelate with her piercing from a katana.
Played Mutant Mayhem to bring M and Phoenix back out. M defeated the prelate with her enter play ability.
Psylocke readies from Utopia allowing her to attack Apoc for 3 since we flipped an upgrade from the previous activation.
M attack for 3 and then we use psychic kicker on her to attack for another 5 finishing Apoc off.
In 1 turn able to clear a side scheme, defeat a prelate minion and finish the villain.
Against Expert ESN I had a turn look like this:
Started turn in AE used cerebro to grab cyclops
Play Cyclops and target ESN
Flip to hero Attack ESN with Beast for 3
Psylocke Attack ozymandias for 2
Pitch 3 cards to play mutant mayhem and bring beast/angel back
Grab org support from beast and ready psylocke from angel
Psylocke Attack ESN for 4
Exhaust xbunker and ipac with org support to play Flurry of Blades and finish off ozymandias
Beast, Angel and Cyclops Attack ESN for 3 each finishing the game
These are just a few examples of how a turn can look when playing this deck and there is a ton of flexibility.
You can utilize org support in the villain phase to exhaust a support allowing you to play Telepathic Suggestion or Psionic Redirect.
Rapid Response was a late addition as an emergency in case and ally needs to take a hit or an encounter card would defeat them it would allow you to bring them back.
Overall I've had a ton of fun with this deck and it's been extremely effective against a wide range of scenarios.
I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with the deck!

Mar 16, 2025Very nice! I've been working on an organizational support deck too, and surprisingly, Psylocke wasn't even on my radar this time! I love the IPAC and X-Bunker inclusion, I know you probably have them here mostly as an Org. support engine, but I strongly believe Psylocke makes the best use of these cards. Deck looks fantastic! |

X-bunker is great to use for org support hero turn then flip down and use it the next turn in AE for card draw. Org support is really fun look forward to seeing what you've got for it! |
Mar 16, 2025I was awaiting for someone to make an interesting non-SHIELD use for Organizational Support! Kudos! |

Mar 17, 2025Woot! I love finding great uses for Organizational Support! Spider-Ham also benefits from having two traits to play off with it, using both Cartoon and Web-Warrior cards as resources. And the Quinjet has found some new life for Avengers decks! |
