A paired deck, meant to be played two-handed solo, duo, or multiplayer alongside Spider-Woman Think Tank: I Set 'Em Up (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/49165/think-tank-i-set-em-up-1.0)

Alternatively, any Justice player bringing The Raft would be your buddy. You might bring it yourself, and bribe them to play it for you!

A Few modifications to smooth her team-up with the Raft-minder as a Minion Slayer.

Dropping: Boot Camp, The Bifrost, 2x Mean Swing, Soaring Acrobatics, Dive Bomb, 3x Looking For Trouble Adding: 3x Follow-Through, Martial Prowess, Quincarrier, Blood Rage, 3x Moment of Triumph

Minion Mill

The Raft is a justice card, but Aggression loves it. The general idea here is to abuse the power of The Raft to keep multiple minions in rotation for Valkyrie to clobber for profit.

This profit comes by multiple avenues:

  • Valkyrie benefits from defeating the enemy with Death-Glow attached with a ready, and if Valhalla is in play she draws a card and heals for the first one. After all the minions are gone, her last basic attack usually goes on the Villain
  • This healing turns into more card draw with Blood Rage
  • Valkyrie can draw even more cards on his turn from "Bring It!".
  • Valkyrie can overkill minions using Have at Thee!, or Hand Cannon to damage the villain, augmented by Follow Through
  • Because she makes multiple basic activations every turn, Bug will heal for one each turn and can use his Energy Spear to shred a tough card or spear the Villain a little bit.
  • The Raft gains a bonus thwart for each minion "incarcerated"
  • Hall of Heroes gets a counter whenever Valkyrie herself kills a minion, and he can draw even more cards when she flips down.

Raft Shenanigans

So the ideal setup would involve getting minions out and defeated as quickly as possible to circulate them through the Raft. You'll want to use Chooser of the Slain to summon them so you can beat them down. Once we kill the 5th minion, we start to get overflow... A random minion dealt back to Valkyrie as an encounter card which will start to fuel her draw/ready machine.

The more minions in circulation, the more interesting choices we have. Since The Raft is a Response, we can choose when to activate it. We can be picky with minions (sending those with Tough or Quickstrike or Incite back to the deck discard pile). I originally included "Bring It!" and tried to deal Valkyrie as many minions as possible, but found that while she was able to handle this, she wasn't really making much progress towards victory. Each minion you deal out is virtually increasing the Villain's health (by competing for your damage output). I found the sweet spot to be one minion per turn, overkilled, to draw cards, activate Flight of the Valkyrior if you played it, and then spend your remaining energy against the Villain.

Surviving the Villain

The biggest challenge here is going to be Surviving the Villains activations. That's where your contacts, Jessica Drew and her Think Tank come in. The partner deck here is playing Green/Yellow Hybrid, and she has plenty of control. She has no problem facing down the villain with her Forcefield Generators and Energy Barriers. She can Stun/Confuse with Pheromones and Sonic Rifle. The Think Tank also employ Med Teams that can heal Valkyrie a bit.

You don't really want to exhaust to defend, because Valkyrie's defense stat is underwhelming and we're not playing Valkyrie's Spear to boost it at all. In standard, Valkyrie could often just take the hits and heal up with Moment of Triumph and Godlike Stamina, but in expert this didn't really work. So I had to add some more allies to soak the hits from Thanos (and others like him).

Honorable Mentions

"Bring It!", as mentioned before Locked and Loaded would be a nice way to get a weapon into play if you have a teammate that can help you thwart it.
