I love Wasp's G.I.R.L. AE ability. It's so interesting because it feels like it evolves so much faster than some other abilities in the game. After all, the devs only need to continue to print cards to support it. It's been awhile since I played with Wasp and I thought now would be a great time for a revisit.
This deck comes in two core pieces bound together by the resources that make up most of the deck:
Super Sonic Spinning
Using a combination of G.I.R.L. and Leo Fitz, we can almost always have access to a Sonic Rifle when we want one (which is often). Say we start the turn in hero form and expend one our Sonic Rifles and put it into our discard, we can then flip down, use our AE ability to shuffle it back into our deck, and then pull it right back out with Fitz, potentially even playing it again that same turn.
Web-Warrior Weaving
The classic Web-Warrior kit is here to assist in our bug-based battles. The most basic use case for the WWs here is of course recycling any with resources so that you can have a constant supply of fresh spiders for Quick Quip to use as fuel. That said, many of their effects are worth getting back into play as well. Most notably, Spider-Man (Otto) can synergize with our Sonic Rifle strat we discussed earlier. He also works well with Bio-Synthetic Wings if they happen to be exhaust
Everything Else
The rest of the deck is designed to synergize or assist with these strategies in some way. Of course we have Moon Girl, Vigilante Training, and Ingenuity, classic Wasp staples, but we also have Scare Tactic, Upside the Head, Float Like a Butterfly, and Cypher to help us take advantage of all the status we are throwing out. A lot of the events here are present in low quantities as you will likely be able to recycle them quite frequently and won't be long without. I do recommend getting into a comfortable rhythm of rotating between Hero and AE form to get the most bang for your buck.
I recommend making Web of Life and Destiny and Leo Fitz high priority cards as they are core to both strategies the deck employs.
Hope y'all enjoy this one!
