―Miguel O'Hara
"I never found the right band to join. So I started my own. With a few old friends. (...) You want in?"

"I don't believe in consistency."
"This guy is killing me."
―Spider-Punk and Spider-Man
Deck Summary
- Get Spider-Man 2099 on the table early with Across the Spider-Verse or Call for Backup and keep him there with First Aid
- Use Spider-Man 2099 and Command Team to put Ghost-Spider or Spider-Man back into your hand multiple times per turn
- Draw cards from Web of Life and Destiny and go fishing for Web-Shot or Swing In with Ghost-Spider's response
Getting the band together
Ghost-Spider has always been a really consistent way to get identity events, and the new Spider-Man 2099 lets us play her even more frequently. It's a really slick combo, however it takes some investment to set up. I tried this with a bunch of different spiders before settling on Miles. The reason it's so good for him is that Miles has really powerful and low cost identity events, and he's versatile enough to abandon the combo and still do fine if there is too much pressure to get set up.
Spider-Man 2099 is priority 1. Try not to pay for him if you can avoid it, use Across the Spider-Verse or Call for Backup. Web of Life and Destiny also needs to go down as soon as you see it.
You want to use Miguel to bounce Spider-Man back to hand for villain damage or Ghost-Spider to hand so that you can draw Swing In, Web-Shot, Double Life, or Arachnobatics, depending on the situation. Miles can shuffle these cards back into the deck by flipping to alter ego, so make sure there's always a good target!
What if I want to win more?
Just that combo once a turn is enough to get you the win in a lot of scenarios. But if you want to really go ham, Command Team lets Miguel go more than once a turn, Team-Building Exercise makes it cheaper to re-play web warriors, and Warrior of the Great Web can attach to Miles or even to Spider-Man 2099 for those turns where they get to activate more than once.
I played this deck a bunch at Con of Heroes 2025 and it really gets going. Even against a stalwart opponent your numbers are high enough to still do a lot. The Web of Life and Destiny draws can also go to other players if you want to set someone else up for a mega-turn!
As always, let me know if you have any cool games with this deck, or fun substitutions!

May 07, 2025I'm playing a very similar deck, and Rapid Response is working very well for me as a "cheaper way" to recur Spider-Man 2099 (or other spider-warriors depending on the situation). Anyway, I'm not playing First Aid neither Command Team which seems to cover a similar role in your deck. What about using them to replace First Aid? They cost 1 more resource, but with the ally leaving play you get refunded by Web of Life and Destiny, and get an extra +1 attack with Warrior of the Great Web. Also, with just 1 Rapid Response you can get a double Spider-Man which can be great for the final rush. |

I saw this in action and it was really cool seeing just how often Gwen was leaving play and grabbing and drawing cards.
