Solo Sunday - Tony's Crypto Stonks Secrets! vs Risky Business https://youtu.be/iwm9BP0t8Ac

Elevator Pitch: High card draw, high economy deck. It wants to play side schemes so it always has something to thwart.

Tony Stark. Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. You wouldn't think it, but I think this man would hate cryptocurrency. Or maybe you're one of the enlightened ones that also thinks that. Either way, there's definitely some universe out there with a skeevier iteration of Tony Stark that would love a good get rich quick scheme and has no problems leaving others holding the bag. This Tony always has some idea for a new scheme, hence all the side schemes we're running. The idea is this:

  1. Play as many Side Schemes as you can
  2. Thwart them down with your Helmet and Events
  3. ????
  4. Profit!

He already has the same economic power as a medium sized country and with Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Quincarrier, Ingenuity, and Skilled Investigator on the field we are going to try and turn that up to 11. Once we have the side schemes out, we'll have a very thin deck so we should always be drawing useful events to push the game state. Those events are here to either help drop threat quickly or draw us more cards, we are always pushing that goal of going to the moon with our economy.

Always try and play a side scheme each turn if you are able to since once you get the Mark V Helmetit will be very easy to take them out. With the Arc Reactor you can easily remove four threat per turn with just basic activations, so as long as you are in control of the game, you can pop most of your schemes with just one activation and your helmet.

Tony even brought some of his friends/employees to help him out. Spider-Man and Speed will help burst down schemes that are lingering too long, Manifold will help retrieve his schemes, and he has Daredevil on retainer in case any other lawyers come knocking.

Once you have assembled enough of your armor to make the turn from set up to execution, start throwing out your Supersonic Punches and Repulsor Blasts to burn the villain down. I’d save your basic activations for threat management. If you happen to draw Supersonic Punch on the same turn you have Face the Past go ahead and play it. Whiplash is a pushover of a nemesis so there’s no reason not to play him if you have your instant win card in hand as well.

Changing up the Business Plan

If you are looking to cut this deck down to 40 cards, I think you could take out Spider-Man, one copy of One Way or Another and Yaw and Roll, and two of the Side Schemes (likely Specialized Training and Show of Empathy). If you are looking to take this deck into multiplayer, you'll probably need to switch things up a bit if you are planning on being the primary source of threat removal. May give up some card draw by trading your three copies of Clear the Area for three copies of Three Steps Ahead since our on board economy is so good you should be able to cover all the icons you're looking for. I would hesitate to cut or trade Yaw and Roll completely since once you are up and running you're going to be going aerial anyway to maximize the profits from all of your upgrades so it's not like it artificially cost two resources by itself since you're using the aerial resource on so much other stuff. One resource for three threat removal is incredible, especially since you can trigger it off of the helmet if you don't have another way to thwart this turn.
