Player Type: Spike/Johnny - Who doesn't love infinite combos?? Deck Type: Smoothie Deck - A healthy blend of aspect, hero, and basic Complexity: Low Main Player Counts: 1 player(s) Can Do: 1, 2, 3 & 4 player(s) Key Cards: Cameo/Wiccan, Call for Aid, Regroup, & Petulant Pig
Overview
Who doesn't love a good cameo (Especially if it let's you go infinite!)? To establish the combo all you really need are two cards in your hand: 1) Regroup and 2) Wiccan. Wiccan will pull Petulant Pig and the cycle of playing Wiccan / Petulant Pig will net you +1 card each cycle that you can use for events, upgrades, etc.
Misc Tips and tricks
- The big thing you need to watch out for are the Boost Effects on encounter cards. These can be mitigated with items such as Front Organization, Make the Call, etc.
- I would mulligan hard for Regroup, Call for Aid, and a double resource. Remember you will draw 6, mulligan, and then discard 2 cards. This means you have the possibility of seeing 12 cards so you should have a good chance of getting the pieces you need
- Call for Aid is used to search for Wiccan. He is your only Avenger card and added in the final step of set up
- Front Organization is used to protect any of the cards you control. This can be used for allies, supports, and/or upgrades. It is wildly powerful in trying to protect your combo pieces
- If your combo is broken, it is pretty easy to restart it
- Rather than using Make the Call as a resource, I would recommend holding onto it in the scenario Wiccan ends up in the discard pile
- Consider playing a second copy of Regroup in the same turn as a safety net.
- I would leave Call for Backup at 1 threat so that you can use it to bait Masterplan or as an emergency to find Wiccan
- Build Support cheats out Quincarrier
First turn OTK strategy
For a first turn OTK, what you really need is: 1) Call for Aid, 2) Regroup, and 3) Some extra resources (A double resource card (Energy, Genius, Strength) -OR- Petulant Pig). Regroup / Call for Aid takes priority over double resources.
- Step 1 - Draw and mulligan hard for the following 3 cards: 1) Call for Aid, 2) Regroup, and 3) Some extra resources (A double resource card (Energy, Genius, Strength) -OR- Petulant Pig)
- Step 2 - Cameo Time! Cameo, is resolved during step 16 of Set up. This means you will add Wiccan into your deck after resolving draw and mulligan. Setting up a perfect Call for Aid.
- Step 3 - Play Call for Aid getting Wiccan and potentially White Fox and some Digging Deep if you missed the double resources in your opening hand
- Step 4 - Play Regroup and flip to Hero form.
- Step 5 - Play Wiccan and get Petulant Pig into your hand
- Step 6 - Play Petulant Pig and use Wiccan to chump block. Wiccan will go back to your hand via Regroup.
- Step 7 - Repeat steps 5/6 as needed
Designer Notes
This deck really came out of a thought exercise on the 1st turn possibilities that exist for a Cameo deck. I quite like the card as it opens up avenues for interesting deck building, but you often lose a big tempo swing for using it.

Apr 22, 2026is Cameo the most powerful leadership card at this point? You could deck-out with this synergy and literally get 30 cards into your hand |
